Welcome to NE Bubble Football

FAQ's

1. What type of sport clothing and footwear do I need to wear?

We recommend sports clothing such as t-shirt and shorts with appropriate sports footwear such as trainers. We cannot allow anyone to wear football boots encase of damage to players and the bubbles. Sporting pants such as joggers and tracksuit bottoms are also fine, basically anything that is comfortable and will not restrict your movement while playing bubble football. We also HIGHLY recommend players wear shin pads and knee pads to protect yourself fully, however you can play without, but at your own risk.

2. What size are the bubbles and are they safe?

Our bubbles are 1.5m which cover head to hip and they protect you in all directions and most of the impact is absorbed if you wear the equipment properly. We always give a short safety briefing before the game to advise the rules to show you how to stay safe during the game.

3. Will images be taken of the event?

For an extra fee we can arrange a photographer to come along and take photos of the event that you can take away with you so the experience will never be forgotten. On some occasions our photographer will be there without your request in order to take photos for promotional purposes, if they are there and you decide you wish to purchase the photos at that time as well we of course can arrange this for a nominal fee. We also have no objections if you have friends or family who may wish to take photos for you either.

4. Are there any height or weight restrictions?

Yes, participants must be at least 5ft tall and weigh no more than 22 stone in order to fit safely into the bubbles.

5. Are there any age restrictions?

Yes all of the group must be aged 10 years and above.

6. Do you have insurance?

Yes, we have public liability insurance but remember bubble football is a contact sport therefore if you are hurt from participating in bubble football we are not liable. If you stay within the rules of bubble football you will have a great time and the risk of injury will be minimal.

7. What facilities would you recommend we hire?

We recommend Omniturf pitches as these facilities will not be affected by the great NE weather and are great for bumping and rolling around in our bubbles.

8. Whats surfaces are not suitable?

The only surface we will not allow the bubbles to be used on is concrete and astroturf due to damage to the bubbles, and I don't suppose anyone would enjoy rolling around on such a hard surface.

9. Can Kids and Children play?

YDue to the nature of bubble football and the sizes of the balls we can only allow ages 10+ to play. For people aged below 18 years of age to participate in the event we do require a signed consent form from the parent or guardian which can be downloaded here

10. When would a game get called off?

Weather - If you have chosen an outside football pitch and its starts to rain heavily we may have to call off the game and unfortunately refunds will not be given, this is why we recommend indoor facilities are the best to avoid the dreaded NE weather.

Equipment Misuse - If the equipment is being misused and health & safety rules are being broken we will be forced to end the game early with refunds not being given. This is encase we feel injuries may occur to the participants or damage to the equipment. This will not occur if the equipment is used properly as advised by our staff, meaning the event will be a fun day for all and continue as normal
